Development Manager - Health & Social Care - KW - Chelmsford, Essex
We have taken a fantastic opportunity working for a leading Domiciliary and Residential Care organisation.
Our client is currently looking for an experienced Development Manager.
The role would be covering the Essex region.
The main duties of this role are as follows;
* As needed support Registered Managers to compile action plans in response to other external inspections and ensure compliance.
* Effectively manage own workload and prioritise tasks
* Deliver training as needed on professional and clinical issues and help to develop the staff teams in the services.
* Work within services to audit against all aspects of National Minimum Standards
* Ensure health and safety polices are followed in services
* Provide cover for services in the absence of the Home Manager as needed
* Assist with recruitment
* Produce action plans against audits and identify support needed
The successful candidate must have worked within the Care sector previously and must have the following skills and Qualifications;
*Qualified nurse or NVQ level 4 in management.
*Sound working knowledge of Care Standards Act 2000.
* Previous Care Service Management.
* Experience of problem solving and action planning
* Clear understanding of adult protection polices and processes
