We are looking for experienced Children's Support Workers throughout the area. Successful candidates must have a genuinely caring nature, good interpersonal skills and be able to work on their own initiative.


Job description

You will have to provide support and care to the residents in your care promoting a person-centred approach. You will be helping clients from various backgrounds and cultures. The role can vary from providing Night Awake cover to a day shift full of activities or taking the children on trips out; drop off at school etc. Therefore experience in any of these areas is extremely beneficial. We particularly welcome applicants with Business Insurance on their vehicle as you may be required to use your own vehicle to transport the children (fuel costs reimbursed).


Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by applicant at a cost of £41.00. However a clear enhanced CRB dated within 6 months can results in shifts being offered immediately.


We specialise in Emergency Shift cover and as such the hours are not guaranteed and are on an ad hoc/as and when required basis. As such this role is especially suitable for those in employment seeking additional hours or those in further education or with home responsibilities looking for an additional source of income.


Requirements

An NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience is essential as a minimum.

Previous experience with in a care setting.


Wage is dependant on experience
