We are looking for experienced Adult and Children's Support Workers throughout the area. Successful candidates must have a genuinely caring nature, good interpersonal skills and be able to work on their own initiative.
Job description
You will have to provide support and care to the residents in your care promoting a person-centred approach. You will be helping clients from various backgrounds and cultures. The roles can vary from working in a children's residential home; supporting adults in a supported living unit or providing support and advice to families. Therefore experience in any of these areas is extremely benefitial.
References covering 5 years are required. Successful applicants are required to provide a CRB enhanced disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by applicant at a cost of £41.00.
We specialise in Emergency Shift cover and as such the hours are not guaranteed and are on an ad hoc/as and when required basis. As such this role is especially suitable for those in employment seeking additional hours or those in further education or with home responsibilities looking for an additional source of income.
Requirements
An NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience is essential as a minimum.
Previous experience with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Wage is dependant on experience |
